OEMPCWORLD employees have many years of experience in flash memory products. We recommend these microSD cards for your GoPro camera: SanDisk Extreme (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB sizes) Samsung EVO Plus (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB sizes) SanDisk Extreme Pro (256GB and 400GB sizes) Lexar High-Performance Professional (128GB and 256GB sizes)
The 9 only supports 256 max tho. :( (I think) But to give some numbers to the OP: 4k60fps at the high bitrate setting gives 4-5 minutes per 4 GB chapter, so a rough 1 GB/min ratio. For bike trips lasting only two hours, I am already at 120 GB with that setting. So yeah, go for the max size you can get.
To make an estimate, with a 32 GB micro SD card, you will be able record an average of 6 hours of video with the preset standard du Video mode. Similarly, you can aim for approximately 25 hours of recording with a 128 GB SD card. Then with regard to 4K recording, you will be able estimate about 2 hours of recording with a 64 GB SD card.
